Mrs. Jordan Wilkins

I love being on the special education team at Sul Ross! I teach the younger group of SAILS students (K-1 or K-2).

I was born and raised in south Austin, TX. My husband and I got married in 2019 and moved to the Bryan College Station area that same summer. This is my fifth year teaching at Ross, and my sixth year teaching in Bryan ISD! Some of my favorite things are sweet tea, Milky Way candy bars, crafting, and cuddling with our cat, Izzy.

Class Dojo messages are the best way to communicate with me throughout the day! All students will be entered into my Dojo Class so grown-ups can message me from there. Class Dojo can be downloaded as an app or can be used on the website (www.classdojo.com). It is FREE for all users!

Green folders are sent home DAILY with general information about your student's day! They include a small daily report page (new ones each week). Campus notifications and finished activities are typically sent home on Tuesdays. These folders travel back and forth from school to home and back to school every day.

After school, I  typically reply to both emails and Dojo messages from the end of the school day (3:10 PM) until about 4:00 PM. I am available for in-person or virtual conferences upon request.

My Credentials

In 2019 I graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education.

I am certified to teach early childhood-6th grade (EC-6) general education, all-level special education, and all-level ESL.

This is my 6th year teaching in Bryan ISD and my 5th year teaching at Sul Ross.
